About Calendarverse
Calendar tools are not a side project for us. They are the company.
Better ics is built by Calendarverse GmbH, a German company focused entirely on making digital event sharing and calendar infrastructure work reliably, from one simple button to enterprise-scale ICS delivery.

Where it started
One open-source button became a calendar company.
Calendarverse began with Add to Calendar Button. What started as a focused developer library grew into one of the best-known tools in its category, used across millions of calendar interactions. Its adoption gave us more than scale: it gave us years of real-world evidence about devices, calendar clients, implementation patterns, and the places where event workflows break.
Public proof, not a vanity claim
Add to Calendar Button in the open
The Calendarverse
Different tools for different levels of ownership.
The portfolio grew around actual jobs people needed done. Each product keeps a clear boundary, from a free code-owned button to managed event operations and dedicated calendar infrastructure.
The open-source starting point
Add to Calendar Button
The widely used library that puts reliable save-to-calendar choices into websites and apps. Free, open source, and built for developers.
02The managed workflow
Add to Calendar PRO
Event management, RSVP handling, landing pages, and distribution tools for email, websites, social media, and operational teams.
03The smallest useful tool
Add to Calendar Links
A straightforward way to turn one event into a shareable calendar link without installing a library or managing a full platform.
04The infrastructure layer
Better ics
Reliable hosted ICS generation for enterprise scale, with the control and operational capabilities client-side generation cannot provide.
The limit that shaped Better ics
A great button cannot solve a server-side problem.
Add to Calendar Button remains the right tool when a technical team wants a flexible, client-side calendar control. That architecture is also its intentional boundary: creating ICS files in the browser can behave differently on Apple devices and leaves no backend from which to manage, update, meter, or observe the file generation.
Better ics complements the Button with hosted, consistent ICS generation. Use the familiar delivery experience while moving the fragile part to purpose-built infrastructure.
It also opens the workflow to teams that should not need deep calendar-format expertise just to create reliable files and keep event content current.
Built from customer evidence
We did not invent a feature list and look for a market.
Better ics comes from years of conversations with customers and prospective customers using our calendar tools in production. They showed us where client-side generation reaches its limits, where RSVP operations become manual, and where large organizations need control without another internal subsystem. We built the product around those repeated needs.
Our technology serves millions of calendar events every day

You are in experienced company.
We have spent years on the unglamorous details of event formats, calendar clients, RSVP flows, distribution, and scale. Better ics brings that accumulated experience into one focused service, backed by the same team and ecosystem already trusted for millions of calendar interactions.
